Project Description
Due to the massive upgrades at a transmission substation, including the installation of a new distribution transformer and metal clad switchgear, large-scale updates and additions to the SCADA and communication design at the substation were required.
Outcome
PRE provided all the design updates, procurement, and settings files for the upgraded RTU, HMI, DNP enabled relays, LTC controller for the new transformer, and various other communication devices to fully upgrade the entire communication design for the substation. Extensive field support was provided throughout construction to ensure all the communication settings and equipment were commissioned successfully.
